“There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more
important than ensuring that their safety and rights are respected, that their welfare is respected, that their lives are free from fear and that they grow in peace.”
Kofi Annan, the former Secretary General of the United Nations
Every child is like a seed with a lot of potential waiting to be nurtured.
How well they grow depends on the teachers, the parents and the environment. The right school can change the future of a child and in the long run, the future of the entire nation.
Having been an educator, trainer and an administrator myself for several years, I strongly feel there is a need to shift our focus from MARKS/GRADES to the skills that need to be developed in schools.
We, at SAMSIDH MLZS create an environment where creativity is nurtured and each child is able to perform without any fear or inhibition.
I have seen a drastic improvement in children who have been with us for a couple of years. This we have been able to achieve through our parent partnership; our unique methodology that integrates knowledge, values and life skills in each lesson and our enrichment classes resulting in the academic improvement of every child.
Real life learning goes beyond classrooms.
Our children are sensitized to the outside environment through field trips and community outreach programs where they involve themselves in making a difference in the lives of less privileged.
Our teachers are enthusiastic about teaching and learning. So are all our staff members including the support staff. They are all willing learners.
Safety of the students is one of our prime concerns. We have created a culture in the school where every staff member considers herself/himself responsible for the safety of the children.
Hoping to welcome you on the school campus soon !!!
